As a former Realtor, I am confident we have a lot in common. Like you, I wanted to run my business professionally, grow every year, and still have a life outside of work. I was not interested in trading every waking hour just to be successful. Unfortunately, the systems available at the time made that nearly impossible.

I felt frustrated by expensive, clunky tools that were hard to use and even harder to trust. So in 2002, Wise Agent was founded with a simple mission: build a system that makes it easy for real estate professionals to automate, organize, and run their entire business in one place. A system that helps agents grow faster, maximize profits, and most importantly free up their time. Today, Wise Agent is trusted by thousands of agents, teams, and brokers around the world.

I often get asked why we decided to take on such a big challenge. At the time, there were a few CRMs on the market, but I was a new Realtor without much money to spend on technology or mistakes. I worked all over Arizona, often in one city in the morning and another in the afternoon, so I needed a system that was internet based and accessible anywhere. To my surprise, none of the real estate CRMs back then were truly online. They were complicated, overpriced, and difficult to use.

As my business grew, so did the chaos. Important details, deadlines, and future clients started slipping through the cracks. That was the moment I realized I needed to build the system I had been imagining.

Fortunately, one of my best friends, Mike Becker, was a programmer. One weekend, while sitting in the top row at an Arizona Cardinals game at Sun Devil Stadium, I pitched my idea to Mike on a beer napkin and asked if he could build a simple tool to help me run my business.

Mike took that napkin and turned it into a system that was easy to use yet powerful enough to run my entire operation. It automated the tasks that consumed my time and eliminated the things that kept getting overlooked. At first, it was only a tool for my personal business. We had no plans to turn it into a product.

Once I started using the earliest version of the software, everything changed. I began closing deals consistently and was recognized as Rookie of the Quarter at my company’s awards meeting. When asked how I was able to do so much without a team or assistant, I offered to show my system in a short demo. After that meeting, several agents approached me asking how they could get it for themselves. That was the moment we realized we had built something every agent wanted.

We went to work making the system available to others. Originally, we named the company Wise Realtor, until we received a cease and desist letter from the National Association of Realtors. That small detour led to a better name and Wise Agent was born.

Over the years, we have built an incredible team and grown into one of the most recommended CRMs in the real estate industry. At our core, we are a team of doers who believe that when you take great care of employees, they take great care of members. That belief shows up every day in the feedback and reviews we receive about our support.

We remain focused on building innovative technology and backing it up with old fashioned customer support. Simply put, we exist to help you make more money and give you more time to enjoy the things that matter most.

Brandon Wise founded Wise Agent after experiencing firsthand how disorganized, expensive, and time-consuming real estate systems were for agents. As a former Realtor, he built Wise Agent with a simple goal: help agents run a more organized, profitable business without sacrificing their time or sanity. Today, Brandon continues to lead Wise Agent with a strong focus on simplicity, innovation, and exceptional customer support.
